Mission President

The mission office sent this photo to Scott and I of Justin when he arrived in New York.  He is pictured with his mission president and his wife:  President Patrick H. Holmes and Sister Jennifer D. Holmes.  They just began their service in July of this year so he should have them for his entire two years.

First NYC Sighting!

The family feeding Justin tonight sent this picture.  I'm assuming this is his trainer but I don't have a name yet.  NOTE:  Justin tells me his trainer is Elder Richards.  He just got of training so they are a very young companionship.  "He's obedient which is all I asked for but we're still trying to figure out each other's personalities".

Dear whoever gets this,  I won't make this long because you probably have better stuff to do then read my email, but more importantly I have better stuff to do. Ball is life and pday comes but once a week. I've been a missionary for 2 weeks now but this is my first email because I did at home MTC for a week. At home was a good experience but I can say for sure in person is 1000x better.  Something I've learned in my time here is that I've lived a very blessed life. Some of the elders and sisters in my district have had trials in their lives that I would not have been able to handle. Despite all the obstacles they've faced, they're all still here and are the best missionaries I've ever met. One thing I've always expected from my mission was to have some dope stories of seeing miracles. I just didn't expect to get  them before I got to New York. I know it's  basic but God truly does love each of his children. I have never in my life felt closer to ...
