I got my son this week. He's half Korean. Our friends Fabian and Luz were baptized on Saturday and recieved the Gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday. That was a big miracle because neither of them were planning on getting baptized  until Friday . Right now I am wearing a wet shirt because I guess I didn't start the drier or something dumb like that. Anyways hear is the story with Luz. We had a lesson with her on Thursday and we kneeled down in prayer with her and asked God if she should be baptized and she said she felt like she had to wait until the holidays. But then on her way home, she found a feather and at that moment Luz knew that she needed to be baptized. True story

Elder Rasband shook my hand!!! Eeeeeek!!!   Before I get to that, more importantly, our friend Victor was baptized 🤗 Victor is such a humble guy and willing to do whatever it takes to follow God. We met with him the day before his baptism to finish a few things up and during the lesson he opened up and told us that he thought we were going to try and find fault in him and tell him he couldn't be baptized 😭 It broke my heart, he acknowledged that those were thoughts of the devil and we reassured him that he would never get rid of us! Also one of the other companionships had the coolest family that was being baptized. Their son asked me to baptize him because when he came to church I was the first name he learned. That was a cool experience!  Ok now to Rasband! To begin with Ron and I are tight, like unto a dish. Like this 🤞 It all started when he was called as an apostle and I first heard his name. Then we got to know each other pretty well over the next few General Con...

Miracles are abounding in the Bronx! This week 5 more of our friends were baptized! I love them all but one of them meant a little more for me. About 3-4 weeks ago we were walking to the church and there was a group of people waiting for there bus to come. For some reason people are less likely to talk to you when they are in a big group. I just yelled out if any of them wanted to come to church with us on Sunday and one of them said she did then she got on her bus before we could talk any more about it. On Saturday Kristy was baptized with her 13 year old son Jose! Kristy has super bad anxiety and closes up around people. It has amazed me how much people will open up to you as you show them you are truly invested in them and care about what happens to them! I was able to Confirm Kristy as a member of Jesus Christ's church and through the power and authority of the priesthood give her the Gift of the Holy Ghost! I gave a talk in sacrament this week as well. It turned out fine but t...

(I somehow missed this email so it is out of order!) We had transfers again. I am now in the Bronx. It is the best area in NYC by far. So blessed! All the fire hydrants here are broken and spew out water 24/7. There is a great deli right next to our church building so I'm gonna be fat. There is also a new drink there that is my favorite. People here are super humble and prepared by God. Should have some baptisms coming up. There are a lot of street vendors here selling a bunch of cheap fake stuff so that could be cool. One of the missionaries has a pickle ball net so we will be playing that on Mondays. My apartment has a washer and dryer. There is also a lot of places in the city where you can get big slices of pizza for a dollar. My comp is from Surprise Arizona. We went to a members house the last day I was in Long Island and she made us a cake and had lots of balloons and she won't leave Ashlyn alone on Facebook Bye Bye
