Justin Pace the NYC Missionary

  Good morning Krusty Crew! No big stories this week. My comp was a bit under the weather so we kept it pretty chill. We did lots of calling this week. Lots of voicemails left. This Sunday the two speakers in our first ward had sick kids so me and my companion had to speak, but there is a pair of sisters in the ward as well so we all spoke. Only about 5 min each so not too big of a deal.  I spoke on the light of Christ. Jesus said, "I am the light which shineth in darkness" D&C 6:21. The world is so full of darkness we need to look to Christ in order to find the light. It made me think of the song in Tangled. " And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted, and at last I see the light and it's like the sky is new, and it's warm and real and bright and the world has somehow shifted ". The light of Christ is warm and real and bright and as we spread that light with those around us the world will shift from darkness into light. There is ...

  It's pday again! Yu   So here's the deal! We've been doing this for a few weeks now so if you're still reading the emails I thank you. I will try to make them as interesting as possible and not too long. Time for the highlights! It rained buckets one of the days this week!   Made me feel like I was back home in AZ! Psych! I hate the rain so that sucked but whateva.  My companion and I got separated this week!   So here's the story. We were traveling on the subway, as you do, and we normally go on opposite sides of the subway car so we can talk to more people but still see each other. So we get to the stop before we're supposed to get off and I stay on the train (that's what we call it). When the train doors close and start to pull away I look out the window and my companion is standing there disappointment on his face. The Nallys (the brother of our current Bishop) must be on a family vacation as they went to church in Manhattan AND to their surprise, Justin gives the closing prayer in the sacrament meeting!  I was sitting in our Sunday school class when she sent this picture!

  Yo, Alot happened this week so I'm gonna try and hit the highlights from each day so I don't forget anything. Before I start this week I forgot to mention that while I was on the plane to New York the main actor in the RM (a movie about a missionary) was on my plane, ironic, so I got a Pic with him.  Ok so now we're at Monday. For my first pday in the field me and some other elders went and balled up at the church 🏀. Tuesday I don't remember. Wednesday I have no idea. Dang this ain't working,I don't remember when I did what. So here's the rest of the weeks highlights.  I saw Time Square (we aren't aloud to go in but I could see it) BIG disappointment 😞 the ball looks so big in that one episode of Jesse but I looked up and there was a poster of Clifford the Big Red dog that was 50x bigger 🤔 I forgot to take a picture of that so I'll add that in one of my emails when I do.  Also the New York City marathon was this Sunday plus it was the 50...

 Sister Holmes, his mission presidents wife, just sent this picture to me.  She said he gave a beautiful opening prayer for their Zone Conference.
