Good morning Krusty Crew!


No big stories this week. My comp was a bit under the weather so we kept it pretty chill. We did lots of calling this week. Lots of voicemails left. This Sunday the two speakers in our first ward had sick kids so me and my companion had to speak, but there is a pair of sisters in the ward as well so we all spoke. Only about 5 min each so not too big of a deal. 

I spoke on the light of Christ. Jesus said, "I am the light which shineth in darkness" D&C 6:21. The world is so full of darkness we need to look to Christ in order to find the light. It made me think of the song in Tangled. "🎶And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted, and at last I see the light and it's like the sky is new, and it's warm and real and bright and the world has somehow shifted🎶". The light of Christ is warm and real and bright and as we spread that light with those around us the world will shift from darkness into light. There is no better time to share the light of Christ than during the holiday season. Light the World! Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Love you all! (I somehow missed this email so it is out of order!) We had transfers again. I am now in the Bronx. It is the best area in NYC by far. So blessed! All the fire hydrants here are broken and spew out water 24/7. There is a great deli right next to our church building so I'm gonna be fat. There is also a new drink there that is my favorite. People here are super humble and prepared by God. Should have some baptisms coming up. There are a lot of street vendors here selling a bunch of cheap fake stuff so that could be cool. One of the missionaries has a pickle ball net so we will be playing that on Mondays. My apartment has a washer and dryer. There is also a lot of places in the city where you can get big slices of pizza for a dollar. My comp is from Surprise Arizona. We went to a members house the last day I was in Long Island and she made us a cake and had lots of balloons and she won't leave Ashlyn alone on Facebook Bye Bye

Couple of Photos

No letter today but he sent these two pictures. Eating with a member (can’t tell what the food was) and before he left the Bronx.  This is the mission leader of the Spanish ward but Justin really liked him.  He said he was awesome!   Justin has said he’s gaining weight and I can see some extra fluff around the middle in this picture.  He eats a lot of sandwiches.  He says they are cheap!  They don’t often eat at members which is what he prefers.  He says a lot of time is wasted eating with members.  He’s got work to do!!
