It's pday again! Yu
So here's the deal! We've been doing this for a few weeks now so if you're still reading the emails I thank you. I will try to make them as interesting as possible and not too long. Time for the highlights! It rained buckets one of the days this week!
Made me feel like I was back home in AZ! Psych! I hate the rain so that sucked but whateva.

Made me feel like I was back home in AZ! Psych! I hate the rain so that sucked but whateva. My companion and I got separated this week!
So here's the story. We were traveling on the subway, as you do, and we normally go on opposite sides of the subway car so we can talk to more people but still see each other. So we get to the stop before we're supposed to get off and I stay on the train (that's what we call it). When the train doors close and start to pull away I look out the window and my companion is standing there disappointment on his face. Turns out I had the wrong stop
sorry. We can't contact each other because only one of us gets a Sim card on their phone and the other person just uses their Hotspot so when we separate the Hotspot doesn't work. But no need to fear we have talked about this exact situation before. I know precisely what to do. I get off at next stop and wait for my companion to come on the next train. The next train comes, no companion gets off
ok sure. The next train comes, there he is oh wait that's not him
fo real! The next train comes, nothing
I'm not amused. Then I get a call. It's the APs (assistants to the president) oh great he called the president. I answer the phone, hello yes we got separated but don't worry I'm not freaking out we have a plan I'm just waiting here until my companion comes on the next train. The APs laugh, "you guys are separated, good thing we called" They had no idea that we were separated they were just calling to ask about a baptismal interview
they tell me to wait there and call back once we reconnect. A few minutes later I get a call and it's my companion calling from some stranger's phone and he tells me to hop on the next train back, so that's what II do. When we finally meet up I'm like Boi what happened to the plan?! He's like if you miss a stop you are supposed to hop on the next train back, we talked about this. Oops
I must have missed that part! So it turns out it was all my fault but that's OK because we thought it was funny.

I must have missed that part! So it turns out it was all my fault but that's OK because we thought it was funny. The rest of my highlights are from Sunday. Sunday was awesome because it was the PRIMARY PROGRAM! All the little kids go up and sing songs and then each one stands at the microphone and says something cute like "I know Jesus loves me and I show my love for other people by snuggling"
Plus I cover 2 wards so I got to see 2 programs. My favorite song they sang was I'll walk with you. These are some of the words, "If you don’t walk as most people do, Some people walk away from you, But I won’t! I won’t! If you don’t talk as most people do, Some people talk and laugh at you, But I won’t! I won’t! I’ll walk with you. I’ll talk with you. That’s how I’ll show my love for you." Imagine 30-40 little kids singing that song adorable! Then one of the little kids stood up and said. "I like this song because it reminds me of my little brother, my little brother has something in his brain that makes it so he can't walk or talk like most kids do so I like this song because it reminds me of my brother
it was so sweet.

it was so sweet. Later that day we went over to 2 different member's apartments. The first one was this super cute family with 6 and 5 year old daughters and a 7 month old baby boy. The two daughters were so fun and loved to talk with us. At the end of the visit the parents forced us to take a bag of candy even though we didn't want it because one of the daughters looked sad and when I got home I realized why. The bag had her name on it
parents are cruel! The next apartment we went to was super nice. The lobby had 2 doormen and when we walked into the elevator we realized that the building had 3 penthouse suites not just one! So that was cool! Livin large in NYC!

So that was cool! Livin large in NYC! This email is already way to long so I'll end it with the rest of the words from the song, "Jesus walked away from none. He gave his love to ev’ryone. So I will! I will! Jesus blessed all he could see, Then turned and said, “Come, follow me." And I will! I will! I will! I will! I’ll walk with you. I’ll talk with you. That’s how I’ll show my love for you." Find someone this week who feels like they may not fit in. Walk with them, talk with them, love them! I promise it will bring more joy into your life!
Love you guys! No cap! BYE
