Short email. Tired.

1. Surprise visit was the highlight of the mission. The Nally's giving me all the feels. Good to know I'm the favorite still
2. My mission president is a baller, fun Christmas

(Editor fill in....He had a busy Pday today since they had an appointment this morning in addition to their regular Pday duties.  He and his companion also went to the Museum of Natural History and were about to play bball so his time to write was limited....their Christmas dinner appointment fell through due to sickness so he was eating mac and cheese when he called on Christmas.  He was in good spirits but I think it was still a little bit of a bummer SO seeing his hometown Bishop Nally and family on Sunday was a fun surprise that helped his Christmas feel extra special....(as did the burrito blanket his brother sent him!)

He picked out something to represent each of his siblings and parents in the Museum but I'll spare you the details of who is what!!  His mission president with son-in-laws and sons played bball with the missionaries.  Justin was on the non-family member on their team.  They won.

Yesterday two wards were combined and the program was slightly unusual.  Congregation members were allowed to come up and share which hymn was their favorite Christmas hymn and why and then the congregation sang it.  It started with "Once in Royal David's City" which was unfamiliar to Justin and a non-Christmas, yet highly appropriate, hymn was also included "Because I Have Been Given Much".  Both bishops did share a brief message as well.)
