Pace 3:3




I usually decide what to add in my emails based on the pictures I had from the week. I only had one  picture 🤣 so I guess this week is just a spiritual thought. 


We were talking about the story of Noah at church on Sunday and somebody brought up the exact dimensions. Why did the measurements of the ark have to be included in the scriptures. This was someone's thought. He said there are  only a few times when exact measurements are used in the scriptures. For boats and for the temple. He said he thinks it's because they are both matters of salvation. Noah had to build the ark to save himself and his family from the flood, and temples are built so we can perform ordinances that save us from sin. So when it comes to the salvation of his children the Lord makes sure we know exactly what to do. Hope that makes sense. I thought it was cool.

Pace 8:1

(I somehow missed this email so it is out of order!) We had transfers again. I am now in the Bronx. It is the best area in NYC by far. So blessed! All the fire hydrants here are broken and spew out water 24/7. There is a great deli right next to our church building so I'm gonna be fat. There is also a new drink there that is my favorite. People here are super humble and prepared by God. Should have some baptisms coming up. There are a lot of street vendors here selling a bunch of cheap fake stuff so that could be cool. One of the missionaries has a pickle ball net so we will be playing that on Mondays. My apartment has a washer and dryer. There is also a lot of places in the city where you can get big slices of pizza for a dollar. My comp is from Surprise Arizona. We went to a members house the last day I was in Long Island and she made us a cake and had lots of balloons and she won't leave Ashlyn alone on Facebook Bye Bye

Couple of Photos

No letter today but he sent these two pictures. Eating with a member (can’t tell what the food was) and before he left the Bronx.  This is the mission leader of the Spanish ward but Justin really liked him.  He said he was awesome!   Justin has said he’s gaining weight and I can see some extra fluff around the middle in this picture.  He eats a lot of sandwiches.  He says they are cheap!  They don’t often eat at members which is what he prefers.  He says a lot of time is wasted eating with members.  He’s got work to do!!
