Pace 4:1

 Here's the thing

I am now in Long Island. It's felt like many moons since I've been in Manhattan. EVERYTHING is different. Homes not apartments, cars not trains, empty not a can of sardines, trees not skyscrapers, light not dark, love not hate, yin not yang. Sorry I got carried away. In the city all we did was street contacting. Over here all we do is go door to door knocking. I've also picked up painting since I've been out here, I'll give you a taste at the bottom. Ya so right now I am living in the upstairs of this nice older ladies house. The funny thing is she's not a member. She is a former investigator 😲 what do you call an alligator detective. An investigator! 🦵👏that's supposed to be a knee slapper. They didn't have an emoji for it. Also I stumbled across this emoji recently 🫂 ummmm..... 😖 what the heck is that. Sorry I will focus now. Get this, we are teaching this one lady who was in a coma for a year and a half!!! She was hit by her ex husband in a car and they had to take out a big chunk of her brain that was hemorrhaging. She has since recovered and is the sweetest human on the planet. She texts us every day and says "don't forget I like you" 🥺 I guess I'll leave you with a spiritual thought. Nothing profound, but I was reading in the Book of Mormon and a few verses hit me hard. This is just my simple testimony. I believe in God. I have tasted of his love. My prayer is that I will always retain in remembrance His goodness, that I may always rejoice! Mosiah 4:8-12 were the verses.
Love you! 💋

P.S.  Ha 🤣 I totally lied to all of you! I didn't paint any of those pictures. They were already here 😅
