Pace 5:1

(If it feels like it's been awhile since you've read an email from Elder Pace...I feel your pain!!  Actually he did write last week but it was basically to say he didn't have time to write SO....I didn't feel too bad that I didn't get it sent out.  I will try to do better though and forward his emails on Monday!)

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh COOLEST MIRACLE EVER, but I'm not gonna tell you until you read the rest of my email first. 

This was the first week of a new transfer and I am now in South Shore () Long Island. I pretty much moved to the closest area to my last area, so it's pretty similar. I have a new companion as well. He's pretty cool and we enjoy teaching together which is good. We have had some awesome lessons with some of our friends. Also Big Flex , this is another car area and our car is a 2022 Nissan Rogue 

   

 I like my district and my zone. The zone leaders are getting everyone hyped up and they are in my district so it is fun to meet with them. We are having another zone pday today which I thought was usually pretty rare but we just had one like two weeks ago but whateva I'm not complaining. 

 

I like my new apartment. It has a bench press and a rowing machine. I will probably never use the bench press though, I'm trying to keep the ladies away for now so I don't want to encourage them anymore   Also every Saturday we meet up with our Bishop and a few other guys in the area and workout. It's called F3 (Faith, Friendship, Fellowship or something) and apparently it's a nationwide thing where the boiz can assemble and get massive  and occasionally talk about our feelings. Apparently everybody gets an F3 nickname but Bishop was gone this week so until next Saturday I'm still FNG (friendly new guy) basically what I'm saying in this email is I'm getting shredded like a cat owners loafers 

 Okay spiritual dump! Obviously this Sunday was Easter so our focus was on Jesus Christ and His Atonement/resurrection. If you guys truly read my emails you may remember in one of my emails I shared a thought from Alma 7:11-13 i didn't understand why Jesus Christ had to suffer for our pains and sicknesses and afflictions because in verse 13 it says that the Spirit knoweth all things, nevertheless he suffereth... Anyways what my companion said that I really liked was that while the Spirit does know all things, there is a difference between knowing and understanding. I know that one day I will be a husband and a father, 

hopefully, but I won't understand it until I experience it. I really appreciated that insight this week. However my favorite thought  this week came from my mission mom this week. In a Sunday night devotional she was talking about some of the names of Christ. She said one of her favorites is the great I Am which name I never really understood, and what she said about it I really liked. She said part of the Atonement for the Savior was becoming the great I Am. Because he experienced everything he knows perfectly how to succor (run to the aid) of each and everyone of us, so when I am in need of peace he can say I Am the prince of peace. When we are lost he can say, I Am the way. When we are in darkness he can say I Am the light!

I know that Jesus Christ experienced all that I have experienced so he understands exactly how I feel. I know that Jesus Christ is the great I Am, that whatever my struggles are right now I can turn to Jesus Christ and he will succor me. I invite you all to choose a name of the Savior this week and learn what it means to you!

Now for the miracle! I'm sorry I clickbated you, there wasn't any miracle yet, but I do need your help. It has been a struggle getting people to church as of lately so if you guys could add your prayers and fasting to mine this week that our friends can come to church that would be sooo appreciated. Special names to pray for: Rhonda, Anthony, Gertrude. The big miracle is the one that will be in my next email because of your prayers!
