Pace 5:5
Well well well what do we have here? Is that who I think it is? Do my eyes deceive me? You're back. It's good to see you again friend. How have you been? Don't want to tell huh, well then I'll tell you about how I'm doing then
I missed writing last week because we went to the very end of Long Island. It was not worth it, not gonna lie. Pdays are sacred... pday wasted. Here is basically what you missed last week. I was on exchanges one day with one of the ZLs in his area, but he is called Spanish so some of his area is the same as mine. So we were talking to everyone in this one parking lot, mostly hispanic, and as we were getting back in the car we invited this guy getting into the car next to us to church. He said he would come so we got his number, but that's pretty much everything that happened. Anyways, turns out this man is a beast! His name is Dipesh and he is an absolute stud. He was going to get baptized yesterday but he got a job interview out of state so we had to push it out 2 weeks because he is going out of state again next week. He is from Kathmandu Nepal. That is cool by itself, but what makes it even cooler is that one of the sister missionaries in the same area as I am is also from Kathmandu

Transfers are next week so if I get transferred that would be the biggest of oofs. We have a couple other cool people that come to church, but when things get serious I'll let you know
In even bigger news. Spring has finally come!!! Had a photoshoot
Use your little fingers to scroll down to the bottom for some pics! NOT RIGHT NOW THO I'm not done talking to you yet, so focus! I also had a really good slice of pizza, plus the owner liked us so he gave us free dessert. Oh yeah I also spoke on mother's day at church.

I was listening to a talk by James E. Faust called "the enemy within" and he spoke of something he called premeditated repentance. It is the tool Satan uses to demean the importance of timing in the repentance process.
He shared this scripture from 2 nephi 28 in the Book of Mormon, "And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God—he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God"
This idea is also seen today. I've used it before and you probably have too. "Don't ask for permission, just do it then ask for forgiveness" Elder Oaks in a devotional entitled Timing stated, "In all the important decisions in our lives, what is most important is to do the right thing. Second, and only slightly behind the first, is to do the right thing at the right time" May I suggest that the right time to repent is NOW! Now I'm done.
