They serve in a SA ward....Sunday they were fed dinner.  A boyfriend was there but I don't see him (probably taking the picture).  Their apartment was awesome....Rooftop view of Empire State Building

Their church is in a multi-level building but there is no cultural hall.  They do have this basketball court behind the church.

I haven't written a letter in a while simply because I don't enjoy it. But I will write one today for my posterity 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

I am living in Manhattan again. Laundry here is expensive. I am broke. We had a good week alot of cool friends we are teaching. One of our friends is planning on getting baptized this Friday. 

We had zone conference this last week and talked alot about the gathering of Israel and the Abrahamic covenant and Jacob 5. It was fire 🔥 learned much

Listened to a talk the other night and he said that most of the time the problem is not closing the gap between our actions and our beliefs, but closing the gap between our beliefs and the truth. That blew my mind. Most people are not bad, they are just wrong. Our purpose as missionaries is to help bridge the gap between people's belief and the truth. God is the source of all truth. One big lie Satan uses today is tricking us into thinking truth is relative. "This may be true for you,  but it's just not for me" It is true that we should seek truth for ourselves but truth is truth. God's truth is eternal, it is unchanging. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's kingdom preparatory to the second coming of the Savior Jesus Christ. If you have any doubts about that. Read the Book of Mormon, ponder in your heart the message it contains, and each time you do pray and ask God in the name of Christ if the book is true. God answers prayers

(I somehow missed this email so it is out of order!) We had transfers again. I am now in the Bronx. It is the best area in NYC by far. So blessed! All the fire hydrants here are broken and spew out water 24/7. There is a great deli right next to our church building so I'm gonna be fat. There is also a new drink there that is my favorite. People here are super humble and prepared by God. Should have some baptisms coming up. There are a lot of street vendors here selling a bunch of cheap fake stuff so that could be cool. One of the missionaries has a pickle ball net so we will be playing that on Mondays. My apartment has a washer and dryer. There is also a lot of places in the city where you can get big slices of pizza for a dollar. My comp is from Surprise Arizona. We went to a members house the last day I was in Long Island and she made us a cake and had lots of balloons and she won't leave Ashlyn alone on Facebook Bye Bye

Couple of Photos

No letter today but he sent these two pictures. Eating with a member (can’t tell what the food was) and before he left the Bronx.  This is the mission leader of the Spanish ward but Justin really liked him.  He said he was awesome!   Justin has said he’s gaining weight and I can see some extra fluff around the middle in this picture.  He eats a lot of sandwiches.  He says they are cheap!  They don’t often eat at members which is what he prefers.  He says a lot of time is wasted eating with members.  He’s got work to do!!
